Heres where I give my opinion on what Ive consumed lately 
Typically Ill be using the 5 star rating system, possibly with a few notes on why.
I like to listen to this while I eat cherries. A classic 80s alternative/goth staple. Has the classic "enjoy the silence" as well as one of my all time favorite songs "policy of truth" (me and boyfriend have agreed this is our song despite it being about an affair, ask me more about this and I will tell.)
Pretty solid. Although I think this film tried to tackle so many thru lines in Goldins life, the overlap and context connections were clear. I found the sections about her sister and her late friend david to be the most compelling. For the sections about protesting the sacklers, I felt like the film didnt make it clear enough that although the public might think the MET is improving their optics by cutting ties with the family-- its about shaming the sacklers infront of their peers who also have their own wings in the MET. Thankfully Coco Fusco provided a lot of insight on this after, But not everyone has her- yknow?
Why do we keep saying movies are scary and they are literally not and possibly not even intended to be all that scary? Additionally people in the theater (myself included), were laughing out loud at how poorly writting and cliche some of the lines are. I have to give credit where credit is due-- the twist did twist me --HOWEVER I feel as though the logic of how the spirit/ghost operates is lost because of this. 
Definitely a required watch on the idea of the voyeur-- seeing and beeing seen or whatnot, but also a big influence on artistic integrity. Who is with you? Who is against you? How can someone really be working in your favor if they are not working in your mind? 
I will be taking heavy inspo from Erzsébet's pubes in their sex scene.
Im pretty sure that my expectations ruined this movie a little bit for me, I was under the impression that is was going to be scary (hence deeming it a horror movie), but I think that it was nice to look at !! the plot was also a little too straight forward for my liking. 
Speaking of "nice to look at", I just absolutely loved the set and costuming for this film, in terms of the plot-- I was satisfied. Minus points for using AI??? If im being honest the AI didnt take away from my enjoyment of the movie (its a still that appears maybe like three or four times breifly) but if I had known prior I wouldnt have watched it
